NTelos Pavilion

The nTelos Wireless Pavilion is a 6,500 seat amphitheatre in Portsmouth Virginia. Under cover or under the stars on the lawn, it's a good place to hear a concert. The amphitheater's beautiful waterfront location is easily accessible by car or by pedestrian ferry.

The view from all seats in the nTelos Pavilion amphitheater is excellent. If you have lawn tickets, come early for your choice of spots. Lawn chairs are not permitted. Bring a blanket! The gates normally open 90 minutes before show time.

You can bring in blankets, rain gear, frameless backpacks, empty plastic containers and small umbrellas. You cannot bring in lawn chairs, cans, bottles, coolers, food, alcohol, beverages, large umbrellas, weapons (duh), or cameras of any type.

nTelos Pavilion Directions

Driving directions to the nTelos Pavilion aren't difficult. From Virginia Beach take I-264 East into the downtown tunnel to Portsmouth. Take the first exit (Exit 7) immediately out of the tunnel. As the ramp splits, keep right onto Crawford Street. The amphitheater is about two blocks on the right.

From the Peninsula take I-664 south through the Monitor-Merrimac bridge tunnel. Take Exit 9, Portsmouth/James River Bridge. When the exit ramp splits, keep left onto US I-64 East (Western Freeway) to downtown Portsmouth. Go approximately 5 miles, cross the West Norfolk bridge, then turn right onto Mt Vernon Ave. At the third stoplight, turn left onto London Blvd. Get in center lane, which will bring you into Olde Towne Portsmouth. Turn right on Crawford street. Follow. Crawford about three blocks and the Ntelos Pavilion Harbor Center will be on your left.

The Elizabeth River Pedestrian Ferry travels between North Landing and High Street in Portsmouth and the Waterside Marketplace in downtown Norfolk. It's a nice way to get to a concert.

There's free and ample parking for the nTelos Pavilion in the downtown area parking lots. Enjoy your concert!
