Birds and Blossoms Festival
The Norfolk Botanical Garden is the perfect setting to watch the birds, including nesting eagles, among the spring blooming azaleas, roses and many other beautiful plants. Air Power Over Hampton Roads
The Langley Air Show, featuring the US Air Force Thunderbirds on Saturday and Sunday. See the new Air Force F/A-22 Raptor fighter in the air and on display. SheDaisy in concert on Friday. The three-day air show will feature numerous military and civilian aerial demonstrations and one of the largest displays of static aircraft from across the United States. Tidewater Bicycle Association / Tom Coghill Celebration of Life Ride
25, 50 and 75 mile bicycle rides. This is a no registration fee, fully supported event accepting donations to The V Foundation for Cancer Research. Starts at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex.

Jamestown Landing Day
Historic Jamestown commemorates the anniversary of the founding of the first permanent English settlement in North America with a variety of tours, programs and events at the original site of the colony. The National Park Service and the APVA Preservation Virginia will offer free admission, Indian ceremonies, weapon demonstrations, wreath laying ceremonies, living history tours and interpretive programs on recent archaeological finds and the first interactions between the English settlers and the Virginia Indians in 1607.

Chesapeake Jubilee
For more than 20 years, the Chesapeake Jubilee has provided family fun and entertainment for thousands at Chesapeake City Park. Enjoy a smorgasbord of activities, entertainment, food and fun. Major performing artists at the Jubilee will be Blake Shelton, Better Than Ezra, and Boys II Men.

Drummer's Call
During the war for American independence, the armies relied on their music to communicate orders, signal tactical maneuvers and provide musical entertainment. During Drummer's Call weekend, Colonial Williamsburgıs Fifes and Drums will demonstrate how fifes and drums were used in the military by showcasing various regimental field music units.

Patriotic Festival
A Memorial Day Weekend celebration of our military. This festival will have a whole lot of music by Big and Rich, Patti Labelle, Los Lonely Boys, and Michael McDonald. 5th Street and Oceanfront, Virginia Beach, VA.

Pungo Strawberry Festival
This annual strawberry celebration features plenty of fresh strawberries, a parade, musical entertainment on three stages, 4-H displays, a large carnival, children's activity area, and more than 100 arts and crafts vendors. Princess Anne Road and Indian River Road. Virginia Beach.

Riverwalk Landing Grand Opening
