Norfolk Holidays in the City Grand Illumination Parade
A synchronized community countdown signals the spectacular lighting of the skylines of Downtown Norfolk and Olde Towne Portsmouth. The illumination triggers teh start the hour-long 22nd Annual Grand Illuminations Parade filled with festive and lighted floats, marching bands, giant balloons, dancers, and of course, Santa Claus himself. Thanksgiving Day marks the beginning of special holiday programs at Colonial Williamsburg that continue through New Year's Day.
